Overpriced, desk clerks not responsive when told the safety handle in the shower was not securely fasten to the wall. R
Musty and mildew smell. Noisy room over the laundry Dirty carpets
The rooms need to be redone. The carpeting in the rooms were old and the rooms had a stale odor.
The AC didn't work, booked a king room and was put in a double room.
Tha price was ridiculously high for one nights stay $290! Totally got you for college graduation weekend
the staff tried to be nice but they are way overwhelmed and the hotel was not busy but she (alone) was trying
The staff is wonderful and the amenities are great for the price
The bathroom was a little old and worn
It was a good location right off the highway
The door didn't work, the remote to the tv didn't work, there was very little hot water, no free breakfast like other holidays we have stayed in,very expensive for the way the rooms were we had 2 rooms
Horrible smell in hall. First room we were given was dark, dingy and dirty. It smelled like a deoderizer was used to disguise a bad odor. It was facing the back of the parking lot and we did not feel safe! They gave us another room on second floor. Walking up there, the stairs were littered with a bag of crushed Doritos all over. The hall smelled of exterminating fumes. It was an overall disgusting hotel.
fairly clean staffed overwhelmed by work but tried to be nice
uncomfortable beds breakfast
I liked the friendly staff, Pete, specifically. There was one individual who hated to be working there so it seemed. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Clean sheets and a cool bathroom design yet a bit outdated.
I didn't like how that one particular individual from staff was rude and I did not like the bathroom's shower area.
It was clean, quiet, staff was very accomodating. The restaurant was very good. Perfect location for our needs. College visit to SUNY Oneonta, which was close by.
I typically like holiday inn express hotels
I booked a king. Was told that the room I booked was not available. Was not given a discount. Asked for toothpaste. No toothpaste or toothbrush. Bad service. Understaffed. Front desk woman was overworked. Or perhaps working on a disjointed antiquated system.
Location was close to SUNY Oneonta. Price was fair based on amenities.
Although I was happy to see a continental breakfast added free of charge for guests, it really was very basic and only included store packaged items like bagels, donuts and yogurt. When families travel, breakfast can be quite expensive and a decent continental breakfast is a deal maker for us so we don't have to eat out. Otherwise this was a nice hotel.
Front desk staff at check-in and again in the morning were very friendly as was staff in restaurant at breakfast.
I liked everything, but the included breakfast might be expanded a little although the choices were just fine and everything was good quality.
